We are moving out of our apartment on July 6th and need someone to take over our lease. You can move in any time between 7/8 and 7/15 (Rent will be prorated accordingly).Rent is $640 a month for 1 person, or $665 for 2 people, deposit is $300, and lease is month to month. Heat (baseboard) is paid, you only pay electricity (runs us about $25-30 a month). In-window AC units are available for the summer with a $65 deposit. Apartment is wired for Cable TV/Internet, but DSL is also available.The building is in a great location, just on the southeast edge of downtown, blocks from the Skyway, Hennepin County Medical Center, North Central University and the Metrodome (great for Twins fans). Also just around the corner from the Bandbox Diner, which is very cool. There are 2 major bus stops just 1 block away on either side, and it is about 4 blocks south of the new Metrodome Light Rail Station as well.I don't have the exact sq footage, but it is a pretty large 1BR, w/ 10' ceilings. carpet in living room & bedroom, tile in bathroom, and hardwood in the kitchen/dining room. brand new fridge. bedroom is a master bedroom, with exposed brick on one wall. bathroom has a full tub/shower and a nice vanity with a very large mirror.The apartment is on the 3rd floor and faces South East, so you get plenty of sunlight (but not too much to make it super hot either), and has tons of windows (including a very awesome 3 pane bay window that is about 6' high. It is also a corner unit, so noise is never a problem. Parking is on the street, but by permit, which is $10 a year, and you'll never have a problem finding a spot right next to the building. Laundry is in the basement, and is pretty cheap (.75 a load).We can arrange to show you the apartment ASAP, evenings after 5pm, or mornings from 7-10am work best though, weekends would probably work as well.
